Solve 3x/2 - 7=x/4 - 2 i know the answer is 4 but how do i solve this

First, multiply by 4 on both sides to eliminate the denominator, and you get...
6x-28 =x-8
Subtract x on both sides and add 28...
5x=20
Divide to isolate the variable...
x=4
