SOLUTION

The circumference of a circle is given as:


C=\pi d

The diameter of the circular disc is 3 feet'

It follows:


\begin{gathered} C=3\pi \\ C=9.4 \end{gathered}

Therefore the number of revolution is:


(18)/(9.4)=1.9

Therefore the number of revolution is approximately 2 revolutions
