solving inequalities in real life 4. Liza wants to have more than $750 in her savings account before she will leave for college. Right now she has $300, and she is going to babysit to earn $12.00 an hour. How many hours will Liza need to babysit before she leaves for college?

We fisrt write the goal:

$750

and sustract the ammount she already got:

$750+$300 = $450.

So, she still need to get $450.

Since she will get paid $12.00 an hour, we operate as follows:


h=(450\cdot1)/(12)\Rightarrow h=37.5

From this, we have that she will have to work 37.5 hours in order for her to get the remaining $450.
