Given a = -3, b = 5, and c = -8, then a 2 b + c is _____.

I thought it was -53 after doing PEMDAS, but I got it wrong. Any help would be appreciated!

the answer is 22

Explanation:

because -3 is squared and that equals 6 and 6 times 5 equal 30 minus-8 equal 22

9(5)=45
45-8= 37
