This problem is as easy as pie!
All you have to do is isolate the x. And to isolate, we have to perform the opposite action. [multiplication=division, addition=subtraction]
-4x=-6+2x
-2x -2x

-4x = -6 + 2x

-4x - 2x = -6

-6x/-6 = -6/-6

x = 1

hope this helps
