What is the correct solution to this problem? A number divided by 3 is four more than –11. What is the number?

If we represent the number as n, we get n/3=-11+4 since that number divided by 3 is 4 more than -11. Therefore, we get n/3=-7. Multiplying both sides by 3, we get n=-21
