Answer:

The Answer is A, or y-2=-1/2(x-3)

Explanation:

First you multiply -1/2 by the (x-3) and that gives you -1/2x +1.5.

Then you can move the -2 over which then makes it positive, you add that to the 1.5 and your y intercept is 3.5.

Your slope ends up being -1/2

Y-intercept ends up being 3.5

Hope I helped:)

First find slope
(2-4)/(3+1) = -2/4 = -1/2
Use point (3,2)
y-y1 = m(x-x1)
Plug everything in
y-2 = -1/2(x-3)

Solution: A
