Student 1 can paint 1/12 of the wall per minute.
Student 2 can paint 1/24 of the wall per minute.
1/12t+ 1/24t= 1 where t represents time in minutes.
3/24t=1
Divide both sides by 3/24
t=24/3
t=8
Final answer: 8 minutes
