What roles does the judicial branch play in both the presidential and parliamentary system when concerning checks and balances?

In the presidential system, the president has the power to create laws like the legislative branch through executive orders. The role of Judicial branch under this system is to examine every executive orders under Judicial review and determine whether those orders violate any part of the constitution. The orders cannot be passed if the judicial branch found a violation.

Under Parliamentary system, the role of judicial branch is to apply the law that was created by the legislative branch. On top of that, the judicial branch will also serve as a mediator that settle the disputes between executive and legislative branch.
