1) Operating functions

f(x)=x³-x

g(x)= -2x-4

2) Operating f * g(x)

Let's plug it into the f(x) and the g(x) their functions

(f×g)(x)= (x³-x) (-2x -4) Applying the distributive property

\begin{gathered} f\cdot g(x)=(x^3-x)(-2x-4) \\ f\cdot g(x)=-2x^4-4x^3+2x^2+4x \end{gathered}
