Given,

The measure of side AC is 30 meters.

The measure of side BC is 18 meter.

Required

The measure of side AB.

Here,

ABCD is a rectangle.

So, side AB, BC and Ac will follow Pythagoras theorem.


\begin{gathered} AC^2=AB^2+BC^2 \\ 30^2=AB^2+18^2 \\ 900=AB^2+324 \\ AB^2=576 \\ AB=24 \end{gathered}

Hence, the measure of side AB is 24 m.
