Given:

The container has a top base of dimensions :

=4in*6in

And the bottom base is a square of side 4in.

We have to find volume of food that holds in this container.

The figure shown is a trapezium having parallel sides of 6in and 4in and height of 5 in given.

We have to find the volume of this trapezium.

Now,The volume is given by:

\text{Area of trapezium}* height

And the area is given by:

(1)/(2)(\text{ sum of parallel lines)}* height\text{ of trapezium}
\begin{gathered} =(1)/(2)(4+6)*5 \\ =25square\text{ inches} \end{gathered}

Now, the volume is given by:

\begin{gathered} =\text{Area }* height \\ =25*4 \\ =100\text{ cube inches.} \end{gathered}

Therefore,the volume of food that it holds is 100 cube inches.
