The victims of the Palmer Raids were treated poorly.

The Palmer Raids were a series of raids on the house of individuals who were suspected communists. This event, that took place in 1920, was fueled by America's fear of communism. This era is known in history as the First Red Scare.

The raids resulted in 6,000 individuals being arrested/having their homes searched without a warrant. This breach of rights was order by the Attorney General Mitchel Palmer. Ultimately, many of the accused individuals were innocent but were never the same after their rights were infringed upon.
