let x be the amount of Earl Grey tea to mix600-x = amount of Orange Pekoe tea to mix
6x + 4 (600-x) = 4.5 * 600
6x + 2400 - 4x = 27006x - 4x = 2700 - 24002x = 300
x = 150600 - 150 = 450..amount of Earl Grey tea to mix = 150 poundsamount of Orange Pekoe tea to mix = 450 pounds
