Simplify (a+3)(a-2) I need to show my work...thanks!

(a+3)(a-2)
a^2-2a+3a-6
a^2+1a-6

^ = the exponent so if i have a^2 that is a squared. a^3 is a cubed.
a^2 - 2a + 3a - 6 because a*a = a^2, a*-2 = -2a, 3*a = 3a, and 3*-2 = -6.
a^2 + a - 6 because of combining like terms.
