1. Graphic image of ΔPQR under a translation units to the right and 5 units up 2. Graph the image of Parallelogram WXYZ under a translation 4 units to the left and 6 units up3. The coordinator of ΔABC are A(-4,5) B(1,4) and C(0,-3). Great the coordinates of A’, B’, and C’ when ΔABC Is under a translation 3 units to the right and 7 units down4. The coordinates of ΔLMN are L(0,-3), M(2,1) and N(7,0). Right the coordinates of L’,M’, and N’ when ΔLMN is under a translation 2 units to the left and 4 units up

1) The first step is to find the coordinates of the vertices of triangle PQR. We have

P = (- 4, - 1)

Q = (- 1, -1)

R = (- 4, - 3)

If we translate a figure with vertex whose coordinates are (x, y) by c units to the right and d units up, the new coordiantes would be (x + c, y + d)

Thus, by translating triangle PQR 3 units to the right and 5 units up, the new coordinates would be

P'(- 4 + 3, - 1 + 5) = (- 1, 4)

Q'(- 1 + 3, - 1 + 5) = (2, 4)

R'(- 4 + 3, - 3 + 5) = (- 1, 2)

We would plot P'(- 1, 4), Q'(2, 4) and R'(- 1, 2) on the graph as shown below
