First, let's analyze the figures 1 and 2:

• One side of figure 1 is 6, while the same side in figure 2 is 9.

Knowing it we can calculate the ratio, using the formula:


\frac{\text{ side of figure 2}}{\text{ side of figure 1}}

Let's replace them with the values:


(9)/(6)=1.5

So, it means that figure 2 is 1.5 times bigger than figure 1.

Let's complete the spaces:

• If the perimeter of 1 is 20, the ,perimeter of 2 will be ,20 * 1.5 = 30,.
