a) To know the total millilites that sam use to fil the dispenser, we will have to add all the seven amount filled as shown;

Total (in milliliters) = 350 mL + 600 mL + 475 mL + 580mL + 720mL + 500 mL

Total (in milliliters) = 3225mL

Hence the total milliliters that sam use to fill the dispensers is 3225millilitres

b) The amount liters of sanitizer remaining will be 12litres - 3225mL

Convert 3225mL to litres

3225mL = 3225/1000 Litres

3225mL = 3.225litres

The amount liters of sanitizer remaining = 12 - 3.225

The amount liters of sanitizer remaining = 8.775litres
