-4t-5>7

First, we add 5 on each side


\begin{gathered} -4t-5+5>7+5 \\ -4t>12 \end{gathered}

Then, we divide the equation by -4


\begin{gathered} (-4t)/(-4)<(12)/(-4) \\ t<-3 \end{gathered}
