Password protection is the most effective way to limit the risk of unauthorized access to workstations. Password protection helps to verify that the person attempting to access the workstation has the relevant permission and authority to do so. However, this is not a fool-proof method, as the password can also be obtained by an authorized party.

I would say simply that to limit access to computer work stations then it should be implemented to have a password to gain access to the computer so that way only those who have been authorized will have access.
