Since there is a 2 at the start, we actually multiply -5 by 2, meaning that it needs to multiply to (-5*2)=-10 and add up to -3. Since -5 and 2 fit the bill, we get (x+5)(x-2)=0 (as -5+5 and 2-2=0)
