By formula,

Gear speed ratio is given by;


(T_1)/(T_2)=(N_2)/(N_1)
\begin{gathered} (10)/(T_2)=(90)/(45) \\ \text{Cross multiply to get.} \\ 90T_2=10*45 \\ T_2=(450)/(90) \\ T_2=5\text{ t}eeth \end{gathered}
