The graphs below have the same shape. Complete the equation of the bluegraph. Enter exponents using the caret (-); for example, enter x as x^2. Donot include "G(x) =" in your answer.F() = x2G = ?5G(X) =

We notice that function G(x) is the horizontal translation of f(x). This translation is 5 units to the right.

We know that we get this type of translation if we add the number of units to the argument of the original function. If the number we add is negative then the translation is to the right, if the number we add is positive then the translation is to the left.

Therefore the expression for function G(x) is:

G(x)=(x-5)^2
