We are given two set of systems of equation

y = -4x - 7 --------- equation 1

3x - 2y = 14 ------- equation 2

Firstly, substitute equation 1 into equation 2

3x - 2(-4x - 7) = 14

Open the parenthesis

3x - 8x + 14 = 14

Collect the like terms

3x - 8x = 14 - 14

-5x = 0

Divide both sides by -5

x = 0/-5

x = 0

To find y, substitute the value of x in equation 1

y = -4x - 7

y = -4(0) - 7

y = 0 - 7

y = -7

The answer is (0, -7)
