Answer:

b

Explanation:

first you have to turn each equation into standard form

so...

a) 3y - 12 = 4x

add 12 to both sides

3y = 4x + 12

divide everything by 3

y = 4/3x + 4

b) 4y - 12 = 3x

add 12 to both sides

4y = 3x + 12

divide everything by 4

y = 3/4x + 3

c) 3y + 12 = 4x

subtract 4 from both sides

3y = 4x - 12

divide everything by 3

y = 4/3x - 4

d) 4y + 12 = 3x

subtract 12 from both sides

4y = 3x - 12

divide everything by 4

y = 3/4x - 3

then look at the graph

find the y intercept first (which is the last number in the equations)

so...

a) 4

b) 3

c) -4

d) -3

the line meets a 3 on the y axis so the y intercept is 3 so you can already tell the answer is b.

but to check yourself you would see that the points is up 3 over 4 so 3/4 is the slope so thats the number infront of x.
