Let the width of rectangle be x
length of rectangle = 3x
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + width)
= 60 cm = 2(3x + x)
=> 60 cm = 2(4x)
=> 60 cm = 8x
=> 8x = 60 cm
=> x = 60/8 cm
=> x = 7.5 cm
Therefore,
width = x = 7.5 cm
length = 3x = 3*7.5 = 22.5 cm Ans.
