The perimeter of the rectangle is
`2x+2y`
The perimeter is 104m
∴
`2y+2x=104`

It's 4 feet longer than 3 times its width.

`3y=x+4`

`3y-x=4`

`6y-2x=8`



`2y+2x=104`

`6y-2x=8`
-------------------------

`8y=112`

∴
`y=14`m




`2y+2x=104`

`2(14)+2x=104`

`28 +2x=104`

`2x=76`
∴
`x=38`m
