The equation is:


f(x)=x^3+4x^2-x-4

So to know that, we can find the intercept in the y axis by replacing x=0 so:


\begin{gathered} y=0^3+4(0)^2-0-4 \\ y=-4 \end{gathered}

So if you see the functions the only one that intercept the y axis in -4, then the solution is option (D)
