find the slope soooo its (y2-y1/x2-x1)= -4/4 so -1 is slope
equation is y=-x+4

You have to find the slope using the slope formula:
(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

( x_(1) ,y_(1) ) = (4, 0)

( x_(2), y_(2)) = (0, 4)

(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) = (4-0)/(0-4) = (4)/(-4) = (1)/(-1) = -1 = m

After finding slope, you have to find the equation using the point slope formula:

(y - y_1) = m(x - x_1)

(y - 0) = -1(x - 4)

y = -x + 4

Hence, the equation is y = -x + 4 .
