(4/5÷1/3)5/8= having problem remembering the steps

Do you remember KFC or LCC (it has different names) basically you leave 4/5, change the division sign to multiplication, and then change 1/3 to 3/1. Now you can multiply straight across and get 12/5. You still have to multiply this by 5/8 so multiply straight across again and you get 1.5 as your answer (it can also be written as 3/2 or 1 and 1/2).

You need to follow the order of operations acronym PEMDAS

ParentheseExponentMultiplyDivideAddSubtract

do the division in the Parentheses first:-
= (4/5 * 3) 5/8

= 12/5 * 5 / 8

= 12/8

= 1 1/2 <----- answer.
