360/6 = 60° (angle of each triangle formed inside)

The apothem divides equally each one of the triangles in two right triangles.

Tan 60 = opposite/adjacent = 6 / side/2

side = 4/√3

Area: 6 x area of each triangle = 6 x (base x height)/2
