What are the similarities and differences between comparing whole numbers and decimals

There both types of numbers but a whole number is a number with no exponents or decimals, but decimals are like a broken un half whole number

Decimal numbers can't be the whole number but the whole number is always included in Decimal Numbers.

Further,

Whole Number: It is an all-natural number including zero (0).

Example, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,.....

It is an infinite but countable number.

Decimal Number: It includes integer as well as non-integer numbers. It is defined as the number whose whole part and fractional part are separated by the decimals.

Example, 1.545, -58.1, 454,1041115.0001, etc.
