we can find the equation of a line from a set of two points, using the following formula

y-y_1=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)\cdot(x-x_1)

where,

(x1,y1) = (-2,4)

(x2,y2) = (6,6)

Replace and solve:

y-4=(6-4)/(6-(-2))\cdot(x-(-2))
\begin{gathered} y-4=(2)/(8)(x+2) \\ y-4=(2)/(8)x+(2)/(4) \\ y=(1)/(4)x+(1)/(2)+4 \\ y=(1)/(4)x+(9)/(2) \end{gathered}

Thus, the answer es:

y = 1/4 *x + 9/2
