the area of the circle-area of triangle
okey dokey

the area of the circle=pi times radius^2
the radius is 4cm
so the area=pi4^2=pi16=16pi cm²

the area of the triangle
area=1/2 times base time height
the base is from BAC which is twice the radius which is 4
BAC=4 times 2=8
the base is 8
the height is 4
area=1/2 times 8 times 4=16 cm²

so area shaded=circle-triangle-16pi-16=16(3.14)-16=50.24-16=34.24 cm²

the shaded area is 34.24cm²
