The horizontal distance between points A and B is:

x_B-x_A=2-(-5)=7

1/5 of this distance is:

(1)/(5)\cdot7=(7)/(5)

Then, the x-coordinate of point X is:

x_X=x_A+(7)/(5)=-5+(7)/(5)=-3.6

The vertical distance between points A and B is:

y_B-y_A=9-(-5)=14

1/5 of this distance is:

(1)/(5)\cdot14=(14)/(5)

Then, the y-coordinate of point X is:

y_X=y_A+(14)/(5)=-5+(14)/(5)=-2.2

Finally, the coordinates of X are (-3.6, -2.2)
