Let the lesser integer be "x".

So, the greater integer will be "x + 8".

Given,

Product of lesser and "-5" is 28 MORE THAN greater.

We can write the equation as:

x*-5=(x+8)+28

We can simplify this equation and solve for x. The steps are shown below:

\begin{gathered} x*-5=(x+8)+28 \\ -5x=x+36 \\ -5x-x=36 \\ -6x=36 \\ x=(36)/(-6) \\ x=-6 \end{gathered}

Less integer (x) is -6, and

Greater integer (x+8) is -6 + 8 = 2

Answer

-6 and 2
