The population of the United States was about 280 million in 2000 and about 310 million in 2010. What was the annual rate of charge in population from 200 to 2010?

ok, find change then divide by years elapsed

change=310-280 million=30 million

number of years elapsed=10
30mil/10=3mil

3million per year was the population growth rate
