How do I find the y intercept when all that is given is the x intercept?​-example-1

you dont, just make a vertical line where you plotted your point

Explanation:

I am going to explain this as best as i can because i dont really remember how to do this

My teacher taught it to me as:

y is fly

so when you get an equation like this but with a y you will plot the dot on the y axis and make a horizontal line

x is dive

when you get an equation like this one you will plot the dot (exactly how you did it) and make a vertical line on that dot

i dont really know how to explain so sorry if you dont understand, hope it helps
