The region that Nina is studying with a biome that has warm, humid summers; cold, long, and snowy winters; and at least four to six frost-free months each year are deciduous forests. They are biomes that are identified with the type of weather that changes per season. The trees in this forest loses their leaves as winter and fall came. They are located in between the regions and tropical areas. That is why air masses from both biomes offer to the differences in climate in decidious forest. The annual mean temperature of the forest is about 50°F and rainfall has a depth of about 30 to 60 inches per year. Because of the changes of climate of this biome, many plants and animals have lifestyle that can adapt to these changes.
