width = x
length = x+5
2x + 2(x+5) = 46
2x + 2x + 10 = 46
4x = 46 - 10
4x = 36
x = 36/4
x = 9 in
← width
length = x+5 = 9 + 5 = 14 in
Area = 9 * 14 = 126 in
