Which equation, together with y = -1.5x + 3, makes a system with one solution?

A

y = -1.5x + 6

B.

y = -1.5x

C.

2y = -3x + 6

D.

2y + 3x = 6

E.

y = -2x + 3

we know that

If the system of a linear equations has only one solution, then both lines must to be different and the slope can not be equal

therefore

option A -----> same slope

option B-----> same slope

option C ----> same slope (m=-3/2=-1.5)

option D ---> same slope (m=-3/2=-1.5)

option E ----> different slope (m=-2)

therefore

the answer is the option E
