Suppose you need 8.5m of Grade 70 tow chain, which has a diameter of /38" and weighs 2.16/kgm, to tow a car. How would you calculate the mass of this much chain?Set the math up. But don't do any of it. Just leave your answer as a math expression. Also, be sure your answer includes all the correct unit symbols.

Total mass = m x l

where m = mass per unit length and l = total length

The total mass of the chain can be found from the mass per unit length and the total length of the chain.

where m = 2.16 kg/m and I = 8.5 m
