X,Y intercepts of

-x + 3y = 18

First find x intercept. Write y= 0

henT

Then

-x + 3•0 = 18

x = -18

Next,find y intercept. Write x=0

Then

(-1)•0 + 3y = 18

y = 18/3= 6

So, in consecuence x and y intercepts are

point A= (-18,0)

point B= (0,6)
