When Jane arrives at Morton, we realize that she has a new chance in life. She is able to find a new sense of belonging, and she realizes she is capable of forming meaningful connections with people who resemble her. She also becomes closer with her students and they value her too. However, the thing that has bothered Jane the most since she arrived is the fact that she has had recurrent nightmares of Mr. Rochester.
