(x+1)/3-(x+2)/(2x) Since the least common denominator is 6x

[2x(x+1)-3(x+2)]/(6x)

(2x^2+2-3x-6)/(6x)

(2x^2-3x-4)/(6x)

So the numerator is 2x^2-3x-4

(x+1/3)-(x+2/2x)

(2x^2+2x/6x)-(3x+6/6x)

(2x^2+2x-3x-6)/6x

Final answer-

(2x^2-x-6)/6x
