1/8 ÷ 2/1
1/8 × 1/2 (use the reciprocal of 2)
1×1=1
And
8×2=16
therefore each birdfeeder got 1/16 of a bag

1/8 of a bag divided into two equal parts.
Each part gets 1/2 of 1/8, which is (1/2)*(1/8)=1/16 of a bag.
(hint: "of" frequently means multiply)
Answer: each feeder gets 1/16 of a bag of birdseed.
