Answer: $4.20 for 7
This problem can be solved by dividing the pay by the number of items.
$6.30 / 9 = $0.70
$5.50 / 5 = $1.10
$4.20 / 7 = $0.60
$0.80 / 1 = $0.80
This shows that for the third option, $4.20 for 7, the rate per item is the lowest.
