So,

Given that:

\begin{gathered} U=\mleft\lbrace j,k,l,m,n,o,p\mright\rbrace \\ A=\mleft\lbrace k,l,n,o\mright\rbrace \end{gathered}

We want to find the set:

A^(\prime)

A' is the set that excludes the elements of the set A.

As we can see, the set A doesn't have the values:

k,l,n,o

So it should have the other values that the set U actually has. These are:

A^(\prime)=\mleft\lbrace j,m,p\mright\rbrace
