We are given that:

1 twinkie = 9.4 cm

Distance from sun to pluto = 5,900,000,000 km

We know that:

1 km = 100000 cm

1 mole = 6.02x10^23 atoms

therefore 1 twinkie = 9.4 cm = 9.4x10^-5 km

If 1 twinkle is 9.4x10^-5 km long and travels 5,900,000,000 km

You multiply the distance of twinkle by the distance from sun to pluto.

So:

9.4x10^-5 km x 6.02x10^23 x 5,900,000,000 = 3.339x10^29 times.

So 1 twinkle will travel 554600 times from the sun to pluto. Times this amount by 2 to get how many times it will travel to pluto and back.

3.339x10^29 x 2 = 6.677x10^29 times

Therefore 1 mole of twinkies will travel to pluto and back 6.677x10^29 times
