Total number of vehicles parked near his store = 2 + 6 = 8

Percentage of the vehicles that were trucks =

=\frac{Number\text{ of trucks}}{\text{total number of vehicles }}*100
=(2)/(8)*100\text{ percent}

= 25%

Percentage that were cars =

=\frac{Number\text{ of cars }}{\text{total number of vehicles}}*100\text{ percent}
=(6)/(8)*100\text{ percent}

= 75%
